Sonlight Curriculum

We are using Sonlight Sciences B & F, and Cores A & E for this year. I plan to use Cores B & G next year to align them in World History, part 1. I am looking at finding a different Science curriculum for next year though. Anyone have suggestions for science? We love nature journaling but want something in addition. I am considering Science Fusions.

Older and wiser?

So yesterday in a conversation with my eldest (a 22 year old college student) I begin spewing sage advice like an ancient Chinese proverb. Afterwards I am thinking, did that really come from me? I guess the saying "older and wiser" may hold  true. I just didn't expect to be offering life guiding words at this point. Yes, I can speak from experience, but it just caught me off guard. I stay so busy with all the goings on throughout our lives that it just was like WOW, sidelined! Hopefully it will get easier as the others grow into adults, but for now, I guess she's still my guinea pig. :)

So can any of you out there offer up opinions on "does it get easier" or your own proverbs? I have 2 kids @ college and 3 @ homeschool, ages 6-22.  Hopefully by the 5th one, I'll have it figured out! LOL
